Cannot make up my mind on good and righteous wheels which can deliver
long distance comfort, occasional two up capability and high speed fun.
Something used as I live in hope of the back trouble being repaired this
year. Needs to take the wind pressure right off my neck, lighter than a
Pan, not a Honda (natch) and no old BMW's

Stuff I've looked at so far.
Bandit 12 - in black of course
XJR 1300 with OE cockpit fairing
    Ducati ST4
    Yam FJR13

    Stuff I've thought of.
    Guzzi Cali 98-99 vintage
Must be other stuff I haven't thought off.

The FJR appears to win hands down on comfort, in a sitting in the
showroom way and it's fairly light but its the most expensive/ugly.
    Opinions??

  3. Lighter, or more manouevreable - ie heavier but all low down should feel
lighter than a top heavy bike of less kgs, right?
Hmm. Fits most criteria, except the taking the weight off the neck. And
they look uber gash with screens on. And are they quick enough to fulfil
your 'high speed fun' requirement? After a gixxer I mean...

    Nope. Sir needs:

  5. Well, Des is back, proudly clutching his exam pass and doubtless as happy as
a happy thing. You could ask him about living with the FJR.

    Kwak ZZR1100 or 1200
    Hardly Roadster
    Various Trumpets
Just consider, whats the point of a cheap, uncomfy bike sitting in your
garage cause you can't ride it for more than 15 minutes?

    Are the two related?

Des vanished last time to drag the adp loons back home, was the exam on
how not to bring them here in the first place?

Try one of those new fangled Triumph Sprint ST's, my neighbour just
bought one and it looks like great machine.
