Looky here.. It's just been reported that the area where I live got almost
two inches of rainfall today.. Similar rainfall amounts seemed to prevail
throughout the area.. 'Bout damned time.. whew.. there for a while, it
looked like we were going be dry forever..

For the past two or three hours, it got real pretty, sun came out and just
some scattered clouds around.. I uncovered the Green One and began to
entertain thoughts of taking a little day run kind of ride.. Just about the
time I cranked 'er up and let it smooth down on idle.. holy cow.. the yard
filled up with every neighbor in the trailer park.. Dammit..

Got all of them on the porch and served everybody some coffee out of that
Gucci coffee thingy of mine.. and the bullshit got all wound up.. Everyone
is all worked up about some of the politics they been hearing about.. some
of them were all excited about this little shower we've been having ..etc.
etc. Typical old neighbor chit chat..

Anyway.. never did take that motorcycle off the patio and wound up putting
the wraps back on it.. <sigh> Guess I'll take a rain check (some pun, huh
?).. Ride tomorrow is a definite possibility..

    Regards
