The little woman left on an airplane last Friday night.. She's on her way to
Guadalajara to visit the family, there.. Guess she just couldn't handle two
runs like this, back to back..

Like a thief in the night, I scotched up the green Vulcan on the patio..
(the one she gives me so much hell about).. Oil and filter change, clean up
and a good chain lube.. those puppies need attention.. That was a lesson
learned well on that trip to Arizona ..

Got it all tended to and commenced to put the tools away.. Uh Oh.. got a
little oil from that damned chain on the patio.. Wiped it up and couldn't
even see a trace of it.. Whew.. After I checked out the filter and drain
plug for signs of leaks, I decided to take her around the block just to
    check it out..

LOL.. When I backed that thing off the patio, my big foot hit the oil drain
pan and holy crap.. used motor oil flew all over the place.. Damn.. OK.. now
sweat.. just another mess to clean up, right ? Wrong... Same damn deal.. Oil
is all over the plants my bride is so proud of.. Jeez.. I ain't never
    cleaned no freakin' plants before..

Just wait till that lil' woman gets home in two weeks and sees what I have
done to her precious flowers and stuff.. Man.. am I ever gonna get it..

Maybe it is time to consider landscaping a rock garden or something...
Hell.. I don't know.. Trouble is coming in my life and that is a sure
    thing..

Maybe it's time for an unexplained grass fire<g>.

I always empty the pan into 2 liter bottle(s), even before the plug
    is re-inserted.

Maybe some sand, concrete mix, or a concrete cleaner will soak
it up. If not, you might want to apply to your local witness protec-
    tion program<g>.

    Thanks - Gary

The "witness protection" plan seems to be the only way out, for me.. The
concrete thing is viable and doable, but these flowers and plants are
another issue.. Attempts to clean them have only complicated matters and
they seem to deteriorate with each attempt..

Maybe .. my brother in law in Guadalajara can offer me his spare bedroom
down there, for some relief.. hmmm.. now there's an idea..

There is no doubt that I am going to need some relief within the next two
weeks, when she returns from Guadalajara.. Sheesh when that little woman
discovers what I have done to HER patio and flowers, she's going to have a
    fit..

I don't think I'd do well in a location like Greenland..My impression of it
is that it is an island of some kind with edges everywhere.. i.e. mountains,
and oceans.. stuff like that.. The way I ride a motorcycle, I'd be over the
edge of something, all the time.. Disasters for sure..

The couch in Blanco sounds inviting, but she'd track me down in no time..
Hell.. the woman can smell me thinking about doing something underhanded..
Suicide is out of the question.. she wouldn't permit me to get off that
    easy..

Maybe . you would be good enough to designate a committee to give this
serious problem some investigation.. Time is of the essence and we should
have some solutions to this situation within two weeks.. If Jailcall could
be prevailed upon to offer, maybe he could arrange some accomodations for me
... Jail might offer the only refuge, where she can't get at me..Hmmm.. now
that's a thought.. Do they still offer "motorcycle parking" for inmates ? It
is a foregone conclusion that my green Vulcan is exposed to immediate
    eviction from this house..

Give all this some thought and let me know what you can advise..

The Exxon Valdez(sp?) is not docked anywhere near your house,
    is it?

So you think I could make that on fly, if I put a tremendous amount of
effort into it ? Nah .. she wouldn't buy that excuse for a minute.. Maybe I
could blame that mess on some of my ol' kinfolks that come around, now and
then.. They are kinda "klutzy" when it comes to that kind of thing..
Sheesh.. we are talking "desperation" here..
