    Yeah, wrong word. It is far more involving than any of the other games
    I've played this year. Willing suspension of disbelief I geuss
    The Chavs can be damn dangerous round here :)

    Needs a BFO PC to run well though..

  9. I thought this was quite good. It did devolve into a bit of an unimaginative
    corridor shooter in places, but overall it was a very good game indeed.
    I think the PC version was early this year. The multiplayer is of course
    fantastic but singleplayer mode is enormously overrated IMO.
    Yeah, good, but not up to the standards of the first two.

    I wouldn't have said any of those were grave disappointments. A bit of a
    let-down maybe.

    It was better than some, but still derivative and *boy* did it suck CPU
    cycles.
    Ahh well. The more I get into HL2 the more I think it probably is the best
    FPS ever. Although the boat bit is a bit like every other vehicle mission
    in an FPS. Thinking about it, that was one of the things I didn't like
    about Far Cry. YMMV
