In what way? Compare and contrast. Discuss. Anything but these glib
    half-posts about nothing, please.

Co-incidentally, me too. Two nights ago. I neither liked it, nor
    disliked it.

    it's a load of drug-induced twaddle, perchance?

Well, it's funny in places, but just gets worse and worse as it goes
    on.

Same here, except for the memory bit and the voracious reader bit. I
read, enjoy, mostly, and then promptly forget. All in the interest of
    saving space.

I read that a couple of months ago. I found it incredibly annoying in
that a) it was terribly written (imo) but b) I really wanted to found
    out what happened.

Mixed Marys sounds more like a gay and lesbian club in Canal Street

How images and attributes of pre christian Goddesses were contained
within christian culture and practise with particular reference to the
christianisation of Britain. How the various Marys can be viewed as
just another reading of the archetypes and myths around the triple
    Goddess.
It was the early hours of the morning. I can send you the four pages
of precis I sent Marina when this subject came up a few weeks back if
you are actually interested. That sets the scene for the subject (far
wider than just the mixed Marys) which you need for a full
understanding of the cultural background at the time. This was my main
area of research for a number of years and doesn't adapt well to a
    short snappy post.
But this is UKRM. They all do that sir.

note to people who believe in a religion or deity of some sort: it's
all just made up years ago by blokes in beards who didn't know any
    better.

I object, I've only once taken a girl hostage when the Stockholm syndrome
seemed my best chance of getting a shag.

Unfortunately we broke up because of her father, who paid the ransome very
    promptly indeed.
Frayed knot, but I may now seek it out.

You ever get that warm feeling when you've pointed someone in the
direction of something they're really going to enjoy?

    Well I've got it now.

If you haven't found someone who admits to owning them before the EOSM
I'll bring them across. Unless you're at MattG fest?
