The forks on my GN250 are looking a bit scabby. They had a nice pair up and I got them for £30. Only they're sodding American ones (there was a US sticker on one) designed for a front drum brake, and all UK models had discs, and they won't fit because there's a bloody great lug sticking out that engages in the slot in the brake plate. Needless to say this wasn't mentioned in the auction description and the big strap holding the two legs together cunningly passes over the lug. I'm not mean enough to file a SNAD claim yet, but I've sent them a gentle message asking what they propose to do now.
