Cycle Australia magazines, circa 1977?

A while ago I put out a call for help. A mate owns a Ducati 750SS that was
featured in Two Wheels, Feb 76. I was asking if anyone had a copy of the mag. We
eventually managed to track down a copy on Ebay.

Now the hard part begins. The bike was also in Cycle Australia around that time.
We cannot source any old copies of the magazine. I'm hoping against hope that
someone may still have a copy of it somewhere.

At the time he bought a dozen copies of CA which he gave to friends and so on.
He still had a few copies of it at his parents' home til one day his mother did
    a clean out....

So, if anyone knows of anyone else, or indeed, has this in their personal
archives, we'd appreciate it if we could get a copy of it, or even purchase the
    mag in question.

We think that the issue in question was either Feb 76 or Mar 76.

The above email address works if anyone wants to contact me direct.

    Thanks.

You can see them in the state library and copy them but I think their
    copiers are black and white.

Try the original publishers, or whichever large publishing house bought
the original publisher, or your local state library maybe? even some
local libraries might have copies. Most have online catalogues you can
    browse.

Not sure who the original publisher was. Or if it even exists, today. But the
national library is a good idea, thanks for that tip (to others as well.).

Zebee has put me onto a friend of hers who I have contacted. We'll see what
    happens.

NLA has a huge archive which they're slowly putting online. Newspapers
from 1803-1954 are being scanned, OCR'd and text indexed so you can
search them online. Anyone can register on their website and assist in
the correcting of the OCR translations. It's a mammoth task but there
seem to be a lot of people assisting with the job. Anyone can help.
The old newspapers reported on all sorts of stuff, interesting or
mundane sounding local stories which would never be reported in
newspapers nowadays, with much more detail than you get these days.

I've found information about my grand- and great-grand-parents just from
perusing articles in the newspapers from the 1900s-1940s. Stuff which my
parents weren't aware of, or were too young to remember.

Nope, they were pretty un-noteworthy. The papers those days printed
many columns of small print text. I guess they had to fill it up with
    whatever stories they had.
