Me and a coupla the good ol' boys just couldn't resist those powerful urges
any longer.. Got all rounded up and bailed out yesterday morning.. hmmm..
That is two urges scratched at one time.. First urge was the little day ride
to Hico.. We took the back roads through Mansfield and ran across to
Grandview to Glenrose.. Seemed like a good day for a little run like that,
but.. from Glenrose on over to Hico, there were more motorcycles than people
out on the highway.. There was some kind of motorcycle deal going on over in
Glenrose, but we didn't hang around to get up to speed on what it was all
    about..

That second urge was kicking in about this time .. couldn't wait to get to
the Koffee Kup to eat all that homemade pie.. That place was full of people
when we got there, and wouldn't you just know it.. the word has been going
around for much too long.. There were bikers all over the place.. They were
packed in the Koffee Kup restaurant with a line outside, waiting to get in..
The gas station across the street was packed and we had to wait for some of
    those guys to top off..

We finally made it inside the restaurant and I'll tell you for sure.. it was
worth the wait.. That chunk of Coconut Meringue pie was huge and it was
piled up with meringue.. Well .. that took good care of the second urge, and
we decided to re-route ourselves to circle back toward the home stable..

The little run over to Cranfill's Gap is always a nut to ride and from there
we circled over to Cisco.. Not being delighted with the traffic clogged
interstate, we rode on over to Breckenridge. had a light snack and then
    headed for the house..

All told.. the successful satisfaction of the two urges was complete.. LOL..
Good time was had by all three of us .. Regards
