We were heading to Fremont to look at a bike today and came upon stopped traffic on northbound 9 about halfway between the summit and Saratoga Springs. There was a badly damaged sportbike on its side, a BMW sedan over the edge (back end into a tree--good thing the tree was there or they'd have tumbled a lot farther) and an Asian man and woman sitting by the roadside looking dazed. Another bike was upright with helmet on seat and a blue WRX was parked across the road. They were setting up an LZ at Pee Point (2 miles south of summit) when we went by there.
