Has anyone here had this done, and what steps must be taken to protect
the oilways etc. on a pair of empty z1000 cases?

I remember 'classic mechanics' magagzine had a problem with a
cbx1000 engine that was bead blasted-it did look nice even though it
    didn't work...

  3. I could have had it done but decided against it. Some of the glass beads
will be left behind when you build the motor.

I'll leave it to the experts to explain how many glass beads are used in the
process, and how few of them could wreck the bearings after the rebuild.

I hope the people who glass blast this guys engine are as concientious as
you. I've seen a couple of scored up examples of piss poor preparation.
