I was just talking to the missus about how Andrew Pitt will be feeling and
although he can't be blamed, he'll probably blame himself and he won't be

I haven't seen the race yet so I didn't know he'd crashed, who hit him
and who won until this afternoon.

 

Look, he was wearing Alpinestars gear, death was inevitable.

 

Looked pretty fucking nasty on the Big Screen on the outside of Paddock Hill
bend.

You could see he was out cold as soon as he hit the deck.

It was a cracking race as well - up untill that point obviously.

 

From my memory it looked like as he came off the bike Pitt's front
wheel hit him square in the face at full chat.

I was spectating from the the entry to clearways. Without going into
unnecessary detail, it was very obvious to everyone around that bit of
the circuit that it wasn't good, but at least it was quick.

 

I think they should pull it until at least after the funeral.

 

I was very surprised to see that the BBC.com news item also showed
footage.

 

Nothing sadder, is there? Never thought I could get this bored
again... ;o)

some reason. Some from Frogland are still up.

Naa, e just be mazed poor bugger.

 

That was my first impression. It didn't look too bad, and I assumed he
was unconscious from the event, which sometimes can be a good thing.

I didn't play it again, just didn't feel like seeing it a second time.
