Radnage -Chinnor, to Postcombe, slip up to Stockenchurch, to Christmas
Common - Watlington - Ewelme - Swyncombe -Nettlebed - Sonning Common
and a few places in between... 100 miles covered to Reading...

    I are mostly smiling...

The Bandit works so much more smoothly now that I've got the fork
    brace fixed...

    Mmmm, we want more... :)))

Not as good as my pannel-beating or stripping and fitting but a whole
lot better than my cottaging, I'm out of practice there... What in
particular do you have in mind?

Black two pack? Sprayer to prepare?

Throw in an entire Guzzi - which is: 2x sidepanels, petrol tank, headlamp
shell, rear mudguard and rear mudguard. Everything is currently painted
    steel.

    ^ capitalisation, gosh!
Aaah, what sort of rating would the Guzzi then get on the gay-O-meter in
    this novelty colour?

    [Pearl Novelty Black]
I think it'd be fine, TBH - it's the standard Suzuki Bandit Black.

    BTW, no email arrived.

I'm a little worried about the black, is the standard Bandit black with a
nobby name or is it like a pair of sta press trousers I had once. You
know, the changing colour ones. Will I have to have a Burberry hat?

    Other reasons to be concerned

    a) Novelty sound s a bit like something sold in a shop with blacked out
windows or an old chewing gum machine on the wall.

    b) PNB - railway term for tea, pie and a shit (Physical Needs Break)

Spraying isn't really my thing. I used to do a lot of primer spraying
and the basic rules are the same. I can tell you what you'd need to
set up a booth in a garage or large shed. Get some stuff to practice
on and you couild probably turn out a half decent tank or fairing. It
mostly comes down to practice, taking your time and the 90%
    preparation.
It would certainly be worth looking into... Email me a 'phone no. ...

If you have enough bits from enough bikes, why not take the whole lot
to a professional plce and get it all done as a job lot? Sean at
Caistor And Sons/Caistors in Wallingford has been doing bike stuff for
over a year now, its about 50% of his work. He will have the right
materials for all the different plastics that bike fairingy bits are
made of... Put the wrong paint onto the wrong plastic and its
    meltdown...

Bear in mind that at work, when using 2k in the oven breathing
apparatas is used so that people don't get poisoned... There are
certain health and safety issues that you should be aware of, I'll get
a summary and post the tomorrow if anyone's interested...

The general consensus at work is that you would probably not be able
to avoid getting dust in the laquer (I know, its spelt wrong but there
you go...). You could then carefully flat the pieces with 1500 grit
paper, T-cut the pieces, then hand-glaze them... But it is a lot of
work. Your main problem is creating that dust free environment... It
would be difficult to get a professional job. I'm sorry if I gave you
false hopes, but you would most likely be better paying someone to do
    it.

If you still want to give it a try, I might be able to get a few
materials from work that would help. Obviously any queries or
questions you may have on the subject I would be happy to pass to our
painters and give you their professional response...

Hell, if you can get the necessary materials and advice to have a go,
what have you got to loose? A few hours... life IS a learning curve...

    Any help, just ask... :)
