Cracked indicator lens an MOT failure.

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by toad_oftoadhall, May 3, 2006.

  1. Bloke at work is taking his bandit 6 in for mot as I type.

His indicator is seriously cracked with a sliver of glass missing and
held in place with clear tape.

    Will it fail on that?

I would say if the tester is doing his job properly - yes.

AIUI, as long as it's not emitting white light, it should be OK. Easier
in the long run to replace it, though.

My car has passes the past three years with a cracked, offiside rear
lens. The crack is minor that it is still water-proof though.
