    Sorry, but I can't accept that. I'd refer you to darsy's reference to
    'muscle memory', earlier in the thread. I only ever use two fingers
    to brake with. My brakes may not be maintained to the highest
    standards, but they have always been effective when used with two
    fingers ... they may have needed a couple of squeezes from time to
    time in order to wake the pistons from their slumbers, but I can
    always exert enough force with index and second finger to make the
    rear wheel light.
