Countersteering in a straightline

Discussion in 'Australian Motorcycles' started by Alan Pennykid, Nov 14, 2003.

  1. I had to pick up a new (car) battery for my sidecar today, the only running
transport now I've sold my ute was the R1100R. So I put the (large) battery
in the right pannier. I really had trouble believing it, but the bike just
wanted to turn right, so had to keep pressure on the left bar to stay in a
    straight line.

I've never bothered balancing my panniers before, I might consider it now.

Sidecar is running again, so it's the load carrier again.
