I nkow, I was talking about the other page that Monkey- I can't even
rememeber his real name anymore ffs- posted. Ignore me, it's the only plan
that makes any sense. I do appreciate what you posted though.

    Champ says...
I'm inclined to just get on my bike and ride it without filling my head
with all this technical shit about camber and physics etc. I do
something which makes the bike lean a certain amount when I want it to,
I do something else and this happens faster. I don' need to know what it
is, or analyse it, that's good enough for me and hasn't made me slow.

  4. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Simian
I can vouch for that. Several years ago I had to fit a wrong tyre to the
front as a getmehome ploy. This was an old Britbike 19" Dunlop which was
fairly square and tall compared to the proper fitment. It didn't half
make cornering interesting, understeering like a fucker and generally
    giving me the shits.

    Feck it.

I'd demolished a large chunk of a bottle of whisky by that point in
the evening, so I hold no responsibility for anything I typed. Ever.

It's good to see the mongs arguing about things they really don't
understand, but like to think they do.

Well I want to thank you both, you two have really cleared things up for me:
I've been wasting my time talking to hideously boring people like Champ,
Monkey and Simian about some abstract irrelevant subject to do with bikes
when I could have been discussing the merits of alternative browsers, the
consequences of poor email formatting and listening enraptured to anecdotes
of working in shops or trying to copoff with the (virtually) nearest
    unobtainable woman.

I blame it on my youth, you know. I had no idea what biking was really
    about. Cuh!

You are Steve Auvache and ICMFF...actually, nothing. It probably all smells
    of wee.

I thought he was more trying to know about what he was dabbling in,

Of course. But Auvache and Loz are playing the Thinking About Things Is For
    Poofs card.

....at which point the cornering thread and the university thread ran into

Were I to be clever enough to be admitted to university, I would
probably do something along engineering lines, basically because I see
it as useful to me on a daily basis.
