Will there be shape changing monsters? Please let there be shape
    changing monsters.

I read that as Ginny, which is certainly one approach to address the
    thermal issues.

How much do you plan to drink? There could be shape changing monsters
or at least things that double up and get blurry.

After all you will need her to keep warm anyway, old mate.

MZ ES Trophy with Pneumat tyres. Great stuff - sadly rare now (pretty
rare then TBH). I've got the 250 version.

  9. No snow at Rumdoodle, due to the aforementioned katabatic winds... ;-)

Accompanied by the sound of a chisel on slate
I was at a museum in Czech last week that was pretty much exclusively full
    of that kind of stuff.

    But it was this that made me think of you lot;

I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only 'confirmed runner' who's
planning to use a big bike. My poor little FZR might be getting a bit
    of a shock...

You of all people with a bit of WUNderland could knock up a nice Cargo
carrier for the K. I've seen a few of those with (reasonably) QD chairs.

Hmm, a *tilting* cargo carrier even!

Twice. In the space of five minutes. And once the following day.

I've just been chatting with him and he does seem to think I'm
    slightly stupid to try it.

I'd really better have a look at the FZR because it's small enough to
pick up easily and I can fit heated grips on it in about 5 minutes.

I don't give a **** about bad form to follow up your own drivel so..

I gave the battery a quick charge, squirted some easystart in the air
tubes and it runs. I think it needs a new set of plugs and the
airfilter changing (or at least cleaning) then I'll have to MOT it
before it gets too cold for me to want to ride it but that's all it
    needs.

A final decision will be made just before departure but the lightness
of the Yam coupled with the fact that I wouldn't give a flying **** if
I left it lying in the snow like a German with no boots means that it
has to be favourite for the trip.

So long as it provdes shelter and doesn't collapse or blow away, it should
    be fine.

I may be trying it with the Blanedarsy gestalt BMW R65.

However, I have to rebuild one of the carbs but I don't know which one so
that's both, replace the clutch, fix the gearchange, get it some tyres,
refit the shocks that are on the wrong sides (they're handed) and get it
    running, MOT'd and taxed.

Over the next 8 weeks. "Get it running" should be entertaining.
