    Hey guys.

Anyone know what the purpose/function of those vans are that I see driving
in town. Are they logging(double check) car plates?

    TIA.

  2. They're there to replace the congestion that used to be there before
    they started charging for it.

One was parked opposite work for a couple of months. Intially it was
an anonymous white van with a great gurt camera poking out of the top,
then a notice appeared on it, confirming it was a CC mobile camera.

They must have caught a few stragglers (or cages successfully dodging
the fixed cameras), as there's now a fixed camera on the same road.
