Beige is just pink that's been left in the sun too long.

I was trained in the army to be a good shot (and not on a GPMG M60 which has
a large cone of fire any any reasonable range) and persued target shooting
and hunting as a hobby for a while, hand loading my own match grade ammo.
These days I have no interest in guns and after shooting the main armament
in tanks rifles do not do it for me.

I have a mate who's into clay shooting (Has represented Oz several
times overseas), when this crap was happening one of his mates had to
hand in his $23,000 pump action Browning and it was destroyed. But
before that happened they had a shoot-off. The five shot pump against
his over and under over 50 targets. A $23,000 gun against a $13,000
gun. Yes they get expensive if you buy a Browning or a Pirrazi. He was
not only seven shots ahead at the end, but also eight targets ahead.

Technically a pump action is not an auto or semi-auto but a two barrel
    shottie is definitely a semi-auto.

I wouldn't class a double trigger two barrel shottie as a semi-auto but
I would class a single triger two barrel shottie as one.

And yes you're right, competition shot guns are hugely expensive! [1]

It brings to mind the Australian olympic medal hopeful who was going to
have her gun taken off her which meant she wouldn't have been able to
compete in her event in the Olympics.

They eventually gave her an exemption but that was more about avoiding
    bad publicity than anything else.

They basically wiped her entire section of the sport out in the country
of Australia since no one else could even practice anymore.

[1] And obviously present a massive risk to the community... the
    gumbiment said so remember.

That's odd, because I still have a fully registered and legal double barrel

but are you saying that there is a difference, according to the Government,
between an under and over and side by side ?

I am sure you should be able to get up to at least $2 but dont think that
    will buy much

    Fair enough :)

I lost interest when the government banned the majority of the guns I
owned and treated the whole sport as untrustworthy loonies.

  13. Fucked if I know, saw it written somewhere and thought it sounded ghood, so
I was sort of felt obligated to use it.

So wearing a swastika and a rising sun headband at the RSL is OK?

I am quite sure that $2.00 would buy something most suitable for your use.

I think that's just another example of the inconsistency of the
    gumbiments 'regulations' in this area.

$2.00 and a kick in one ball is enough for a deposit on a GPz900R!
