Fair enough. To be honest I don't care much what happens either way, I
more care about why people were wearing rockers/colours with the old man

Just a quick question, if a Ulysses member was offended enough by the
wearing of rockers/colours by an another Ulysses member to slug him one,
drag his jacket off, remove the rockers and then hand it back would you
be just as offended?

Actually common law suggests that IP can exist even if it hasn't been
tested in court yet and many groups claim IP over content (even look and
feel claims) that isn't formally registered anywhere.

We're talking really muddied waters, here. You _could_ term it
provocation - I don't. It's kinda like someone saying to you "You
aren't allowed to (ride a harley)(wear leather)(walk on my
footpath)(drive on my roads) coz if you do I'll kick the shit outta you".

On principle, I disagree with the 'right' of someone to tell me what I
can or can't do, within the parameters of the law. I can shrug off the
patch/rocker/colours thing coz I don't really get into wearing that
stuff. Eventually, the line will be drawn where I WILL give a shit. Then
I need to decide whether I'm prepared to put my body on the line, to
uphold a principle.

Just because I agree with the decision of Ulysses, to ban the wearing of
colours or rockers, does not mean that I support the OMCs in their
stance. In agreeing with Gerry (please forgive me), what they did was/is
bullying - using the threat of violence to get their own way.
