Almost every sailor has one tattoo or more

Apparently Alex Vella is a cleanskin.

Most male members (probably could have worded that better) of the
    British Royalty are tattooed.

Must find a new copy of the book "Confessions of a Tattooist" by George
Burchett. He was a tattooist in the first half of last century and told
    some very interesting stories.

  10. I could go all Nev.. on you and accuse you of implying that I said
something I never said. Or I could politely suggest that if you re-read
my paragraph that you quoted with the care and attention that it so
richly deserves you will discover that I neither said nor implied that
there were statute books 1500 years ago.

The word 'outlaw' comes to us via the Vikings and was originally the
name of a punishment - someone was declared 'beyond the law' if they had
committed a particularly serious crime, such as evading a previous
lesser punishment. Outlaws could be killed with impunity.

The idea was invented in a pre-literate society, so of course there
weren't any statute books then. When outlawry entered the (English)
statute books I couldn't tell you, but it was still there (albeit
unused) well into the nineteenth century.

OK, just checked, that Authoritative Source Wikipedia says it was
dropped from English law in 1879. It also says, in reference to the Wild
West: " By the time of the Western frontier, many jurisdictions had
abolished the process of outlawry, and the term was used in its more
    popular meaning. "

Because I know quite a few sailors and a lot of them were in the navy, both

I've been to VietNam and I dispute that those three were ever there.
I've sent them emails asking them to prove it and I haven't received any
    response which I like.

Clue #1: Consider the full impact of the meaning of the word " if "

Clue#2: Consider that some irony may have been afoot...
    If you say so...
