Confidence is an odd thing (and a battery tale)

Ooh - missed that. 'Ang on <searches Google Groups>.

Ooh - bummer. If it's any consolation, I stuck my '6R into the kitty litter
at Brands Hatch the same day, and made some impromptu modifications to the
fairing. Fucking annoying, 'cos I'd recently fitted some decent crash
mushrooms to it, which would have protected the bloody thing if I'd crashed
    on tarmac. Phooey.
Must be a time thing - first crash I had (only broke the front brake lever
on a CB125 FFS), I couldn't ride properly for two months afterwards. Second
time took me a couple of days. Third time about the same. After Brands
Hatch, I was back out on the track as soon as I'd emptied the gravel from
    the fairing.

Top tip: Crash more often. It gets easier.

Be kind to your knees, you'll miss them when they've gone.
