That's the issue - D-Ring is self adjusting.

My particular niggle with the Seatbelt is if I want to wear a balaclava on a
nippy day - I have to adjust the seat belt clip - and on the SC, that's a
bit of a faff - also nigh on impossible to do with gloves on.

On the Shoei, it's a piece of piss because the strap autoadjusts as you do
it up - and it can be done whilst wearing gloves.

We're coming to the time of year when the morning sun shines straight down
the road out of town. Reflected glare is a small part of the problem - I
usually end up riding with one hand held up to shade my eyes...

 

Black insulation tape would work just as well IMO.

 

I tried that.
Pulled all my eyelashes out when I got off.
