Pardon the intrusion, I know this is a UK group. It was an intresting post and I find it eye-opening to read posts from other perspectives even if its to only be told to sod off. Very interesting observations. I can think of no arguments to refute the idea that we (Americans) aren't liked very much. I just wonder though, if he really is from the future, what would give his warnings any more weight than what already stares us in our faces? Being told that you are going to be embroiled in a civil war in 1 year (never happen sah! Psst, 1863?), or that nukes will drop on you in 11 years might do it. If London gets 2012, then just the sheer fiasco of getting things built in time could mean that doesn't go ahead...
Ginge wrote Why? Look at how many people believe in one or more gods with bugger all proof than somebody's word. Human condition innit?
Nice windup. Frankly though, it's nothing the 13yr old Asimov couldn't have dreamed up. -- Dave GS 850 x2 / SE 6a SbS#6 DIAABTCOD#16 APOSTLE#6 FUB#3 FUB KotL OSOS#12? UKRMMA#19
