After watching lots of video clips of lowside crashes I've noticed a
common theme that runs through nearly all of them. The rider utters
the word "shit" as he hits the ground ;-)

    I did!

  2. Not me !!
I didn't utter one word at all,
couldn't really when all the wind was knocked out of me for a couple of
    minutes
    But, I may have uttered
    Ummphh !!!

Lowsides, They're those nice gentle laydowns where you're tipped right
over and you're almost on the ground anyway so there's little damage to
be done when you contact it? Nup. Never been there. I seem to get
thrown at the ground in a very violent fashion every time.

I didn't say much when I saw the car coming through the intersection but I
stayed awake afterwards and kind of got in an "Oh **** **** **** **** ..."
chant, especially when I saw my right shoulder facing forward instead of out
    to the side. :)

I didn't say a word on my last occasion. Very uncharacteristic. Just
got up, turn off the ignition, calmy moved the pannier that slid off
to the side of the road and picked up the bike. It's all on my camera
too :) Just too chicken shit to put it online just incase my
    grapefruit finds it.

    Grapefruit?

... as in "I like Grapefruit, but they're a little tart?"

That type of lowside is pretty rare on the road but the far more common
front-brake lose is often referred to as a low-side too.

I generally have enough time to think "this is going to hurt".

  14. Maybe it should be "Hmmmm, Can Am Spyder might be a good next bike." : P

  17. You'd find it a lot more fun than weeks in hospital. : )

I spent more time in hospital having babies than I did after falling off a
bike. My offs are generally low speed (or no speed) oopsies, barely worthy
of being called 'offs', and my hospital time is mostly spent in the waiting
room (record of about 5 hours waiting for an xray).
