Come on, England !!!

Exactly - I cant believe the frenzy that the UK gets into (even when
Scotland do qualify) - I absolutely detest football and that fact that its
the mainstream sport in the UK. Right from childhood, through school and now
Ive simply turned off from it but its been mainly unavoidable to come into
some contact be it through scores or whatever. Best thing about thearea I
was in at the weekend was that I couldnt even pick up a radio signal -
missed the R4 news though

When I can work out this "tinyURL" thing I see on here now and again, I'll
post a picture I took at sunset. It was only about maybe 300 meters in
length broken up by rising dunes. Although there were the odd knobhead in
BMW during the day, at the evening it was very very quiet...nice breeze
blowing the log fire..watching the embers glow brighter with every gentle
gust...the moored yacht slowly swaying in rising and falling
tides...absolutely perfect.

Now im sunburnt and in bloody agony....arghhhh!

Especially in the summer, when so many ride in shorts and T shirts. It do
make me wince.

I'm not suggesting that anyone should be 'denied' - but that the mass
hysteria that always surrounds the WC is totally OTT.

But does any of that actually *matter* ? It matters if a bomb goes off in
Trafalgar Square. It matters if fuel prices leap by 30% next week. It
matters if inflation races to 10%. It does not matter a damn who wins the WC
!!
