One clothing related thing you didn't mention was Windproofing.
I always thought people wearing fleeces/jackets over their leathers were
a bit pretentious, until one day when I actually tried me windproof
jacket over my leather.

Now I won't do a long and likely dry journey without it and I have
windproof inner gloves.

At the Brum Bike show, Knox (maker of back protectors) had a display
piece consisting of a large fan in a cabient with a sliding door. The
door was made of the windproof material. It really did block out all of
the wind generated by the fan.

 

Oh hell yes. Whole Hog (snort) or fuckall, innit.

#1 all over the heid and #0 round the fissog, if you want.

You're avoiding the full top and bottom trim though....

 

My last bike was a Bandit 600 and I loved it. Great bike. If I hadn't
crashed it I'd still have it. You can keep up with most on a Bandit.

It is. Pretty much superceeded by the SV650.
