  1. Ah, ok.
    Who says we have to fix/maintain 'em? ;)
    Actually, it's whenever Joe or I get around to it, aside from checking
    oil, thumping the tires, etc.

  3. Now that would be cool. Around here it's turkeys and turkey buzzards.
    I'd forgotten about those. Yuk.
    I should have added that... and humid.

  5. For shame! You're a grandmother now, Sunny. You and Joe should have
    quit that long ago. ;)

  7. Now just where does it say that in the owner's manual?

  8. Is that all?
    I hope you never hit a deer and find out.
    Some think mine are too. Oh wait, you meant on the bike, didn't ya?
    hehehe
    No.

  9. No blaming it on our bikes being Harleys? I suppose I misjudged
    you...

  10. You know me better that that, Don. I have a lot of IRL friends that
    own Harleys. Whatever a person wants and is happy to ride and can
    afford, is fine by me. I also expect the same courtesy in return.

    WestTexas Rider Gal; chimes in about Winshields" ''I once saw a
    rider ahead of me, catch a June bug in the forehead (after it missed his
    windshield), and he nearly got knocked out. I have a friend called
    "Rock", for a reason. It missed his windshield and near cracked open his
    skull. A rock kicked up by a truck, hit my windshield so hard that it
    sounded like a gunshot. I have had stuff smash into my helmet so hard
    that it knocked my head backwards. Birds have bounced off Joe's
    windshield, while he was riding with me. I'm going to use whatever
    protection I need. Not to mention that a winshield is a handy place to
    duck down and ride behind, when it's pelting rain and hail.
    A windshield also keeps my lungs from getting crushed, or my boobs from
    flapping under my armpits while riding at 70+ mph. There's a picture for
    ya. ;-)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I still say it is close to stupid to not have a dern winshield, no
    matter how tuff, or how sissy fied you are!!
    Harold G keeps going with this: ''The main thing I would like to
    prevent with the windshield is my moustache hairs flying up my nose. I
    understand some windshield - bike combos don't really prevent that and
    may actually encourage it. HG)
    ==<chuckle> Never heard of that one. hehe
    Our friend, Mule, has a beard like Bill Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys,
    and he has to tie his long beard down,,,,because he said it would
    literally blow up and cover his ugly puss. and guess what he ''has a
    dern'' WS, you can imagine ifen' he didnt? <chuckle> MrJayT-
  20. It's gotta be me, BJay. No one else would ever let their Harley get
    so dirty as that.
