  2. To tell you the truth, most people I know with ZX7-R's really rate the
brakes on my ZXR. Probably more to do with the pads used...

I have Carbonne Lorraine pads in my ZZR, they made a huge difference,
but they still aren't great when compared to the brakes on more modern
    bikes.

I'm selling my ZZR asap, so if you want Hog's calipers then go ahead, I
won't be buying them for my bike.

Lozzo's a tight git though and probably knows someone who wants to give a
    set away.
Last set I saw on eBay sold for well over a ton.

I'm not "a tight git", I just know where to source parts at prices not
normally seen by the retail public.

  9. just about at the moment. You buy a new car and someone scrapes keys
down the side of it at work. That's going to cost...

It's a vicious spiral. Someone damages car, can't afford decent brake
calipers, another car pulls out from a sideroad, standard brakes aren't up
to the job, hit said car, spend rest of life limping and complaining one
didn't buy the £120 calipers when one had the chance ;o)

Then again I could be an uncaring bastard and say "**** your legs" and keep
then to return to the bike when/if I sell it.

  11. I would. **** the legs. It's not as if the world isn't going back to
    four pots anyway :)
