I hope in the near future to be buying a new outfit. I've used H & G's
Voyager stuff for the last 3 or 4 years, been very pleased with it.
Used on an almost daily basis throughout the year. However it is now
passed it's best before date so thinking about replacements. I want
cloth type stuff with winter inner linings, and hopefully adequately
cool in the summer. Any recommendations to both look at or to avoid.
Needs to be a two piece and not too brightly coloured.

    Cheers

I'm very happy with the Revi't gear I bought last autumn. It has stood
up to the winter very well, and has very good removeable liners. I think
leather is still the way to go in summer though.

Brian emerged from their own little world to say
HG stuff is probably the way to go. 3-4 years from a suit is good going.
You know it works, why change? It's highly rated by many of my GS riding
    friends.

Unfortunately, I have yet to find anything in the HG textile range, except
gloves, that fits my non-Teutonic shape.

  4. Spada got best rated in DiRE magazine recently -scoring slightly better
than HG's top of the range £500+ jacket/trousers, and being
significantly better value at £200 all in.

I can't remember the product names, one was 'podium', the other.... ?

Google for me and Spada in this group and you should find it.

My Frank Thomas textile jacket has been pretty much faultless in the
    time I've had it.

I have the latest Voyager GoreTex 2 piece suit and am pleased with it
    too.

It's warm, keeps the elephants out and it's black.

    What more need I say?

  7. FT did make, occasionally, some good kit. They did a rather stylish
leather blouson once, which was decent gear.
