If you've got a hunchback at all then I really would go for the one piece
rain suit as they are tailored for the hunchback market.

Talking of leaking crotches, I would be concentrating on the pelvic floor
    exercises if i were you.

No hunchback, but I can always improvise with a football ;-)

I wouldn't recommend a one piece water proof as they tend to be a pain
    to get into/out of.

The best place I have found for waterproofs is here

    www.arco.co.uk/

They sell all sorts of safety clothing such as high viz jackets and ear
plugs at much cheapness. You can pick up decent (regatta) set of
waterproof troos and jacket for about 30ukp which you can wear over your
leathers and will fit into most backpacks. I found during winter to
keep my bike gear clean and in good condition it was better to wear the
"disposable" stuff from Arco over the top.

I use a ...wait for it, wait for it....Frank Thomas <ducks> all in one
cordura suit which is surprisingly good in rain and cold and you put
it on in seconds over your work clothes. I went out the other week in
normal winter trousers and jacket and froze by comparison. I know that
people round here think that FT stuff is shite but apart from a bit of
light leakage in the crotch area in torrential rain(water bouncing
back a couple of feet off the road) have had little trouble. In fact
it is the puddle of water you sit in that usually ends up seeping in
anyway. On long long wet runs always put an all in one plastic bag
suit on over your gortex armoured stuff. This helps keep you toastie
warm and even if you are damp being warm and damp is better than being
    cold and damp IMHO.

Oh, and a big fairing helps too like on the Pan or VFR........or go by
    car.
