I'd left my Shoei at a mates and didn't have anything else to wear. I
must have looked pretty daft on my Firestorm wearing it. The Simpson
RX-1 Bandit is fucking useless as a road helmet.

    Futher anecdotal evicence:
I bought bought two CX1 visors, one black, one clear, from
them along with a pinlock reactive insert, fot the clear visor.
What arrived was two CX1 visors and a pinlock insert for an Arai.

Couldn't be arsed to go through the rigmarole of getting it
replaced so I simply sent them a message saying I wouldn't
    be using them again (unanswered).

The insert does fit the CX1 visor, it just has a couple
of cut-outs where the vents on an Arai visor are. I fitted
    it anyway.

Talking about sticking with very gay looking 80s things, haven't you
only recently had a certain thing snipped from your bonce.

    People in glasshouses etc etc.

    <tentatively raises hand>
    I wouldn't. I had one I bought secondhand from a rally driving
mate back in the mid eighties. I still like them and would still
wear one, 'specially if I had an elsie or an original gixer 750.
Jeans, Doc martins and a bomber jacket too.)

They must all be gay then. Want a lift to a Streetfighters gig so you
can tell them all in person?

I still have a complete LC-boy 'uniform'. Black MA1 jacket, knackered
Levis and Docs, with a football scarf to be used tied to others to make
    a frequently needed tow-rope.
