That old Green Vulcan has been sitting idle since we got back from Arizona
last Sunday evening.. What a mess.. After three days of dreading the job, I
finally worked up the courage to attack that filthy thing with vigor.. First
came a good soaking with the hose and then the Simple Green treatment for
    all the undercarriage and frame..

A bucket of hot soapy water and a soft brush to scrub it with and I finally
got to the rinsing part of the project.. Wiping that thing down, I
discovered all the parts that I missed and had to use the "detailer" to
finish the cleaning part of the job..

Filter and oil change comes next, and I guess the missus is just gonna hafta
grin and bear it.. (She don't like all that mess on our patio.. remember)..
Not to mention lubing that new chain, that caused us so much trouble on the
trip.. hmmmm.. maybe that will be the good excuse that I hit her with...
"Don't you see, baby.. all those problems on the road could have been
avoided, if you hadn't banned me from servicing my motorcycle on this damned
patio".. That should really get her good... Yep.. good idea..
