    Probably reasonable.

Nope. That's fair, but it *is* two sided, so reasonable, IMHO, if the
other partner breaks faith, then one should be absolved of
responsibility. It's not *just* 'until death etc' it's quite a long string.
    See above.

No. The vow is two way. It would have already been broken. However even
taken literally surely you can see the difference between

    a) Breaking the vow via the process of divorce because the partner has
already broken their side, or even simply because the relationship has
    broken down.
    b) Breaking the vow by shagging someone else

Or is there really no difference?

Are you married, out of curiosity?
    Nope, sorry.

I concede it is a matter of degree.
It would, and I utterly respect that.
It would seem that you think that *any* expectation of any behaviour
that does not meet the above is unreasonable. I struggle to think of any
example that will, in fact, meet those requirements.

    Naturally.

  8. Fanny by Gaslight?
A most unfortunate choice of film name I thought, and quite a let-down.

But surely that is not contained in the intersection of everybody's
values? Particularly for example, serial killer, rapists and
    'professional' robbers.
