Does anyone know someone that could take on an odd chroming and drilling
job? I have an aircraft engine ballbearing, about 5 inches across made
of solid steel. It has an excellent finish on it, but I need it better.
I've already had it polished up, but I think the only way to improve it
is to chrome it. Can it be done? It has no grippy bits and weighs about
    15kg.

    I have successfully used
    http://www.hardchromeplating.co.uk/

Did my 'wing forks. They specialise in proper plating not the shiny poncy
    showy stuff.

  3. Makes you wonder why they bother with Wings, doesn't it?
