There's your problem. [1] Just move and all your problems will disappear.

    [1] I know. I lived there for a while.

I would but our houses are worth **** all against anywhere half decent - I
cant scrape enough money together to get a new bike yet, never mind moving
house :) but we will get there in the end

That's true - there are some..... 'colourful' places in Corby, some that I
wouldn't be to happy to venture through - let alone get caught filming in.

I saw a something on telly about that. (Allegedly,) according to most
mortgage advisors, anyone on a normal wage/salary should go the
self-certification route. It's quite simple. Instead of telling the mortgage
people how much you earn and them telling you how much you can borrow (wich
amounts to enough for a garden shed with on-suite pond and flower bed), you
work how much you want, divide that figure by 3 or 3.5 and call that figure
your salary. Basically, if you're honest, you rent, if you want to buy, you
lie. It explains a lot about the discrepancy between house prices and what
people should be able to pay for a house, and it's totally illegal, but even
advisors working for the biggest lenders like Hallifax/Bank of Scotland
    group advise this.

I'm sure that there was a pub called the candle or summat, back in my old
corby tech days. That was a welcoming sort of place. The funniest thing I
saw this year was when coming back from stamford, going up the hill towards
a roundabout and these geezer comes around it in the opposite direction on a
redbull ducati. He was really moving, he gave us a nod and blatted down the
straight with a bike cop after him, marvellous.

That's true, but i've just got meself a 13mm English chain and a hardened
ground anchor. Threading that baby through the rear wheel and swinging arm.
I'm hoping that'll do the trick this time. I'm probably wasting my fucking
    time though.
