....and so did the R30. The first serious blast since clearing the carb blockage a few weeks ago. I did some country lanes and a bit of town centre stuff making a lap out of Hatfield Heath, Sawbridgeworth and Bishops Stortford. The combination of that Rotax engine and a Remus race can makes the R30 the loudest fucking bike I've every known.. sure turned some heads in the high street. The roads were dryish but still quite messy in places causing the back to slip out a few times. On the Blade this would've scared the crap out of me but the CCM takes it all in it's stride. I didn't really feel the cold until I got off but then I was only wearing a baggy old pair of cargo pants and a paddock jacket.
