Chrissie Ride?

Hi folks.

Fairly early on Christmas morning, I'll be riding up to the cafe at
Mt.White.

The cafe will be closed, so I'll be taking stuff with me.

I'll be heading back home, intending to be clear of the Old Road by
about 11.00 am....

Anyone who might show up will be welcome.

Well, on Chrissie day, the freeway starts to get clogged up before lunch
time, so you get the overflow onto the Old Road. :-|

In Christmasses past, I found that even at 11.00, the return journey was
hugging the very edge of my side of the road. =:-O

others have mentioned it being a "byo everything" as it was said that
mt white would be closed that day i never thought to ask Max today
it if he was open or closed that day.

Yeh and if you're a kiwi you can put clothes, a tent, sleeping bag or two
and a full gas cylinder in the engine bay too! (Saw that episode of
"Police Camera Action" ??)

Well, if Lucy, or yourself, are likely to feel the need for an ice-cold
dry martini up at Mt.White, then I guess you'd better take the doings up
with you. ;-)

I'll be taking some Chrissie pies and some cans of coke and possibly
some coffee.

AFAIK, Max isn't planning on opening the cafe on Chrissie Day, but,
since he lives there, he may well put in an appearance.

I didn't actually ask him if he was opening, since I thought that it
might come over as some kind of pressure on him to open, and Chrissie
Day is Chrissie Day. <shrug>

I'll tell Lucy - no doubt she will arrange for some sort of Chrissie treat
for the big man. We'll bring our own beverages and probably a collection of
Xmas nibblies.

Further news - Lucy has announced that Max "must" receive an Xmas gift: does
anyone know the big man's drinking preferences?
