There is a television program call Chop Shop, they modify cars, cut up
car, weld bits of metal on them, and even change the roof of those
    cars.

    Those car not crash tested.

I think those cars are death traps.

    But they look good.

Stretch Limo's and Hearses are proper "Cut and Shut" jobs. They put the cars
from the factory on rails, cut them in half, move them apart and weld a
piece in the middle. Then they're bogged up, sanded and painted.

I wouldn't be seen dead in either type.

But, but, but, a 3 litre Cosworth motor in a mostly fibreglass light weight
vehicle made with a pick up truck chassis is kind of fun to drive[1].
    heh!

[1] For certain ill handling high acceleration levels of fun.

100%. I'd never get in a stretch limo and I've left instructions for my
transportation to the crem when I curl my toes up. No hearse to be used.

I've been to Sweden many times on a ship/ferry that grew to almost twice its
original length. IIRC, it went from being the "Dana Gloria" to "The Princess
of Scandinavia" between two trips we made.

Better that, than almost breaking a leg on holiday. Some Norbert did that
    once.
