Austin Shackles fascinated us all by saying...
OK , you've got me. I'm looking at possibly buying a TZR250 for track
days, when I can afford to.

Bugger, bugger, bugger ! I can hear the shrill screaming of the expansion
pipes as I change up at 9000 revs and crest the Mountain at Cadwell. I
can just feel the vibration through the bars and the slight hoppity-
hopping of the rear wheel as I hit the brakes hard and change down 3
gears for the Foggy S's. I can imagine that intense moment as it seizes
solid just as I'm coming up to the braking point at the end of the Revett
    Straight. Bugger, bugger, bugger !

Just because I'm too young to remember them when they were new.....

I like old bikes, and definitely need to add one to my garage. This is a
good place to learn a bit more about them.

  3. It's a good place to learn to avoid them like the plague.

SteveH fascinated us all by saying...
Given your inability to master the simplest of repair and maintenance
techniques on your current bike/cars, what makes you think you'll be able
to keep an SOB on the road?
