its got graphics but isnt a full race replica hat.
hence moderately poser as opposed to full poser.

everything comes in some level of moderation, except perhaps, your
    stupidity.

(ps. i tried to keep sarcasm to a minimum so you would get the general
drift of what was going on)

Oh! is that all it takes to be a poser, these days? Gawd these young'ns are
    pussies.
There is nothing at all moderate about *my* stupidity, thank you very much.
Couldn't see any sarcasm, but the irony was a bit obvious.

    Have another latté

That's not what I said. I said it was a moderately poser hat. I didn't
say that the hat alone would confer full poser status.

Who am I to argue with that?

    Thats plainly obvious.

There is no real "used by" date however a helmet that gets lots of use
is going to wear, especially if your like me and keep droping it. A
check the strap to make sure its not worn is an indicator if you don't
    drop your helmet that much.

I'm looking at the top range Arai and Shoei helmets, both around $900
for a plain color, they are light weight (around 1.3Kg) and well
ventilated. Both of these factors are important to me, they also have
a higher quality liner which makes them more comfortable.

If I can find a BMW helmet I might give one a try, I hear there is a
very light model available. But perhaps not in OZ.

The good thing about getting a new helmet every 4 or 5 years is that
they keep getting better, though some might question the cost/value
for extra ventilation or less weight I say until you have tried it you
don't know how much 200Grams really is, especially on a hot sweaty
    head.

Its a case of what you are prepaired or able to pay.

    Cheers, Tim.

    Hey!

I was Dutch, now I'm an off-shore born Dinky-Di Ozzie, with the papers
    to prove it.

Most people who still insist on calling me a new-Australian haven't
been here as long as I have.

Changing the subject in a humorous method is much easier than
responding to the points being made eh Dane.

If I tried to walk my dog wearing a helmet she'd probably bite my leg.

Ditto again. My RFR is just over five years old and tried to rip my ears off
on the trip to PI in '99. They were bleeding by the time I got home...

    Nice now though...
