And northing. Just reacting to something ginge said
Indeed. Unless you have a very big fuckoff fire with it's own atmosphere

I'm in a similar position, panniers are packed and I just went and
filled the bike up.. I'm pondering getting another bottle of meths
from B&Q for the stove though.. you can never have too many
    combustibles, right?

I reckon I'll hit the road about 3 and be on a 6-7 pm train..

I'll phone when we get off the train so you can have the beers ready.

I've sent the baggage train on ahead. There's a gazebo and tarps on board.

Sir wants a shite old BMW. I've filled both panniers and the top box
with all the camping stuff (1) that I don't want to unload at the
hotel and all I need to do now is shove clothes for the week into my
tankbag and a tailpack and I'm done.

We've packed two small camping stools that usually end up being used
by whoever sits on them first (2) and I'm sure there'll be a beer
crate or two floating around that can be used as seats by the less
    discerning.

We're relying on those of you going straight to Chimay (3) to stake
out the ukrm enclave in preparation for the late comers and bribes
might be handed out to try and persuade someone to grab some beers and
a bottle of wine for myself and Adie in case we spend too much time
    fucking about in Germany.
Think carefully for a minute and then consider if you think I'd stop
in a hotel that didn't have a bar within a few yards of it.

    (1) Obviously the tent and airbed didn't fit in a pannier so they're
being strapped to the pillion seat.

    (2) Adie might disagree if the ground's wet and she wants to sit down.

    (3) We decided to visit the cemetery where my uncle resides before the
racing rather than do a massive detour before heading south
    afterwards.

We'll probably be stopping at a French supermarket on Saturday morning:
    place your order now.

Thanks for the offer but it's only really booze for Friday night we
might need someone to grab for us.
