The worst I've seen have to have been the flushing bogs at the Reading
festival eight years or so ago. Come the Sunday, once the mini-moshers
had turned up, they promptly stuffed bogroll down all the flushers so
they didn't work anymore.

Crap piled up several inches above seat level. Sewage overflowing and
running in a river of piss and shit down the steps. And those were the
nice ones inside the arena.

Ugh.

 

Paul Ricard bogs in the Early Days (early 1980s) were like that. What
was fun was that the traps alternated with shower cubicles, for some
reasons. Richards used to float in and out of the showers.

I also remember being on the crapper once, and looked up, and there was
a turd, dangling Sword of Damocles-like, from the ceiling directly above
my head. I can only assume some sod crapped into his hand and flung it
up here.
