Anyone else interested in a trip to Chimay to watch the classic bike
racing, whilst getting thoroughly ratted on Chimay Bleu and Rouge? The
    rough plan is:

    Friday
Leave Dover on an early afternoon ferry
Overnight at Cambrai; eat, drink and be merry.

    Saturday
    Finish traveling to Chimay.
Pitch tent, watch racing, drink beer.
In the evening either wander into Chimay town and eat at a restaurant,
    or have a BBQ.

    Sunday
    Pack up.
    Watch racing until lunchtime.
    Return to Calais, ferry, home.

    Rough Costs
    Ferry £60 or so
Saturday night Hotel: 80-ish Euros - could be more, could be less
Entrance to circuit: Budget 10 Euros, which includes overnight camping

Plus obvious things like petrol, beer and food.

Interested? E-mail me, remove the spam trap.

You don't have to take a shite old bike, but it looks like there may be
    a Z200, Honda Nightmar^WSuper Dream and a GT750 in attendance.

I'd be worried if you passed up such an obvious opportunity.
    Putting the sprog to work?

  6. good god, a cancel actually worked before it got propagated everywhere
    anyway...

not likely to be able to go anyway.
