    Dunno if that's true or not, but they still bored the triple clinder
    blocks for the Rocket Three using a twin-cylinder borer. Do two pots,
    and then move it along a bit for the third.....

    Mickey Mouse stuff.

    And re-tooling to produce the same old shit (as they did) is a waste of
    time anyway.

    British industry had the technology and R&D resources available to it. The
    working environment didn't then support efficient mass production and there
    was not (and is not) a national obsession and capital structure to
    manufacture.
