Chilly but fun

I took the FZR250 out for the first time because the sun was shining
and it seemed a sensible thing to do. Great fun to ride even though I
kept expecting it to **** off when I opened it up and it just didn't.

It handles pretty well, the rear shock needs a bit of tampering with
but the front seems ok. It needs revving to **** to make it go
anywhere in a hurry but there's a lot of entertainment to be had
keeping a bike revving between 15.5k and 18k rpm everywhere you go. I
reckon that if I put a free flowing air filter in, chuck on a
different end can and sort out the flat spot at 14k rpm it'll be
getting quite a bit of use this summer. I'd chuck it at a dyno but I'm
not sure that it's worth the effort and expenditure.

Riding a 250 meant I felt obliged to go out wearing jeans, trainers
and a cordura jacket but the cold made that seem a bit of a bad idea
    after a while.

    Congrats.

    That bike's a fucking nutter.
