    Worked for me.

    No one was more surprised than me when we ended up at Amiens Railway station.

    Still, nice detour through the Somme valley.

    And some superb 100+ MPH overtakes on the way home ;-)

    I usually do OK, provided I take a quick glance at a map in advance. I
    have a habit of thinking I know where I'm going only to find I don't
    *quite* know where I'm going.

    I've been meaning to buy a compass: I figure with that I can find my way
    anywhere in the UK with very little trouble. Unfortunately I haven't been
    able to find one which looks waterproof.
