Serf kindly rode over to my house this morning to let me have a go on his
    CB500.

Well, it was a lot lighter and easier to manoeuvre (on foot) than my Bandit
and also seemed easier to manoeuvre as slow speed.

The lower gears seemed more flexible than my Bandit, by this I mean; not so
many gear changes in the lower gears required.

Also not so much work trying to stop your nuts crashing into the tank...
    sculptured seat, unlike Bandit.

    Very nice bike.

Thanks serf, much appreciated, owe you a beer.

I think so too. I'd have one, for commuting into Central London (if
    that's what I did).

It depends where. For example, have you ever run one in a Portastudio?

serf had a thrilling run both ways along the A13 during rush-hour.
Filtering at 90 in convoy with several other bikes was educational.
Yup, on the Bandit, I found myself in 4th when I thought I was in
    second!
You're most welcome. Nice to have a bimble around L-o-s again.

Does having the runs in a portaloo count?
