I've been looking for the lowest cost supply of decent engine oil for
bikes. Halfords do 5 litres of oil for 18 quid, cheaper than any
local bike shops to me. Tried Partco and other car suppliers to see
if they have any oils on thier books that do wet clutch engines but no
    such luck.

Haven't looked online yet, thats next, but anyone know of a place I
should look at? There's always someone who knows AFTER you get what
you think is the best deal. :)

Sounds like a plan, the new oil would more than double it's value.

No, it's booked in for a service and MOT on tuesday. Not due an MOT
until September, but would look a bit sus flogging it without one just
    before one is due.

It's for the replacement. Will be doing my own servicing, and expect
to replace the oil on a regular basis so looking for, as I said,
"decent" engine oil. I see where you would think that though. :)

Thanks. It'll take a minute or two to troll through that busy
homepage to find a local source, but it's definately a plan.

The FJ owners club sell it at a reasonable price too.

Millers also do a fully syn and have always found local branch incredibly
helpful , as all they sell is oil they seem to know a bit about it.
