I know ukrm is the font of all knowledge but I honestly would have
thought an insurance broker would be better qualified to answer your
    question.

Is this a clever lead-in to an *old* joke?

"How do you fit four elephants into a car with a 1.1 cc engine?"

Can a Hindu deity with the head of an elephant actually fit into a car
that small? How do you manage the remote control?

I insured the SOCB250RS this week..£61-95 with zero NCB cos I'm saving
it for my next big bike. Sometimes it's good to be old.

Www.confused.com seems to be rather effective for tracking down the
    cheapest c*r quote.

I insured with Norwich Union via Bennetts this year and in doing so I
saved 30 quid on the CB250RS policy. When you consider that the policy I
took out cost £61-95, then that's a big saving. CN's first quote was
£124, but they graciously decided to knock the £29-70 admin charge off
when I told them they were way out of the ball-park. The price I paid
was without any NCB as I'm saving that for the ZZR's replacement, CN's
quote was with my 5 yrs NCB taken into account.

Bennetts quoted me 135 quid for the ZZR1100 with 5 yrs NCB. I think I
may be going with them when I need to.
